TIPCO – BRITISH MADE. 17mm COMBINATION SPANNER
PLEASE READ ALL THE DESCRIPTION AND LOOK CAREFULLY AT ALL 12 PICTURES.
Hello Folks here we have an unused very old stock Tipco manufactured by C.R. Tipping & Co of Leeds 17mm combination spanner.
Sizes etc.. Total length approx 6.5/8″, open jaw depth approx 1/4″ & ring depth approx 5/16″, weight approx 108g. Please Note! this spanner is only suitable for metric nuts and bolts of the correct size 17mm across the flats, fitted to more modern Classic British and American Vehicles, plus most modern vehicles etc. Please Note!.. This tool has a reference number CM17 stamped on it.
CONDITION/PATINA, this tool is listed as unused shop soiled old stock / NOS. It will have manufacturing marks & blemishes and minor loose storage marks to the surface finish etc. I have only given it a clean with a cloth and brass wire brush to remove any dust and preservative etc. Please look very carefully at all 12 pictures for a more informed idea of condition.
COLOUR… This tool has a chrome type coloured finish.
This spanner would be ideal to display with a Classic Car tool kit at shows etc or you could even use it if the need arose.
Please Note! I have added a list of more modern Classic vehicles above as a guide only to vehicles that had metric nuts and bolts on some components, in the hope that some one spots this spanner who knows its suitable for their vehicle DIY tool kit.
